The Ohio University Chapter of the American Meteorological Society is collecting Care Package for Troops items for troops overseas from Nov. 27 to 30.
There are two places to drop off item:
- A Care Package for Troops collection box will be in the Geography Department office, where donations can be dropped off anytime from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- OUCAMS will be collecting donations in the Clippinger lobby from from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
OUCAMS will send the packages overseas before Christmas break.
Suggested items to donate to the care package:
- Beef Jerky
- Pumpkin seeds
- Baby wipes
- Coffee (ground or whole)
- Sunflower seeds
- Liquid hand sanitizer
- Instant Drink mixes
- Snack foods
- Body wash
- Holiday cards & letters
- Dry soup (only add water)
- Shampoo (travel)
- Popcorn
- Deodorant (travel size)
- Conditioner (travel)
- Hair gel
- Instant oatmeal
- Loofah sponges
- Band aids
- Multi-vitamins
- Nut (mixed, snacks
