Scientific Illustration | Vesna Jovanovic’s Drawings and Paintings, Nov. 9

The Ohio University School of Art + Design presents a lecture by Visiting Artist Vesna Jovanovic on Thursday, Nov. 9, from noon until 1 P.M. in Mitchell Auditorium, Siegfried 519.

Jovanovic’s drawings and paintings include the use of scientific illustration as a conceptual device, incorporating forbidden elements like unpredictability, intimacy, humor, sensuality, and intuition into otherwise technical and carefully hand-rendered diagrams of the human body.
