Having trouble getting used to your course load at Ohio University? Is transitioning to a different amount of class work harder than you thought it would be? Don’t wait until your grades suffer to ask for help. There are a variety of helpful academic resources on campus.
The Academic Advancement Center on the second floor of the library can help with tutoring, supplemental instruction, and they even have a math and science center. The Allen Student Advising Center in Baker Center can help with workshops and coaching. The Student Writing Center on the second floor of the library can provide free writing tutoring.
You can also either schedule an appointment with an advisor in the College of Arts & Sciences student affairs department (just call 740-593-2845) or drop in during Walk-in-Wednesdays. Any transfer specific issues can be addressed and we can get you to the services that will help you become successful. There are things that can be done early in the semester to keep you on track in your classes. Don’t wait until it is too late to get assistance.
