Summer research does not always have to be all work and no play.
While I spent the majority of my summer reading Ohio EPA reports and documents about my thesis topic on vapor intrusion, I did find time to get outside from time to time.
Some of my fellow graduate students and I went on a geological adventure out west to visit multiple National Parks such as Zion, Arches, and Olympic, where we were able to gain valuable experiences in areas quite different from Ohio.
