The Psychology Colloquium series presents Dr. Matt Judah on “Self-focused Attention and Social Anxiety” on Friday, Sept. 29, at 11:50 a.m. in Porter 102.
Judah is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Old Dominion University and received a Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University.
His research investigates the role of cognitive processes in the onset and maintenance of emotional disorders (i.e., anxiety and mood disorders). These processes include attention biases, cognitive control, and repetitive negative thought. In particular, he uses the event-related potential (ERP) technique in his research.
