The Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics (INPP) is presenting on Tuesday, Sept. 5, at at 4 p.m. in Edwards Accelerator Lab, Roger W. Finlay Conference Room an Open House.
You are all cordially invited to the INPP Open House next Tuesday, September 5, in the Edwards Accelerator Laboratory. This is a great opportunity to learn about some of the exciting work our department is conducting in the area of nuclear & particle physics.
The event will begin at 4 pm in the Roger W. Finlay Conference Room. After some brief remarks from the Director, Prof. Carl Brune will give a short presentation on his research into “The Nuclear Processes that Fuel Both Stars and Terrestrial Fusion Reactors”. We will then eat pizza and look at posters describing the research carried out within the INPP. INPP students and faculty will be on hand to answer any questions you may have and to discuss their work. You can also take a tour of the accelerator if you wish.
We hope to see you there!
