The Contemporary History Institute presents Dr. Neilesh Bose on Thursday, Sept. 21, at 4:30 p.m. in Baker 242. His theme is “India in World War II: War and Memories Between Empire and Nation.”
Bose is Assistant Professor and Canada Research Chair at the University of Victoria.
He earned a Ph.D. in South Asian history at Tufts University in 2009 and has taught at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX, and St. John’s University in Queens, NY, before joining the University of Victoria in 2015 as Tier II Canada Research Chair in Global and Comparative History.
