Dr. Atalia Omer speaks on Thursday, April 6, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in Bentley 306 on “Intersectional Social Justice Activism: Jewish-American Palestine Solidarity and the Transformation of American Judaism.”
There will be an drop-in in the Center for Law, Justice and Culture lounge from 3 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 6. This is an opportunity for students to meet and discuss with Omer. Pizza will be provided.
Omer is an Associate Professor of Religion, Conflict and Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame. Her areas of expertise include nationalism and peacebuilding; diasporas and conflict transformation and peace; multiculturalism, conflict transformation and justice; theories and methods in the study of religion.
