The Biological Sciences Department continues its Honors Thesis Presentations with two presentations on Wednesday, April 19, in Irvine 159.
At 2 p.m., Kalen Robeson, an Honors Tutorial College student studying Biological Sciences, presents her Honors Thesis, titled “Development of a Fast and Accurate Mutation Assay in Human Cell Lines.” Her mentor is Dr. Tomohiko Sugiyama, Associate Professor of Biological Sciences.
The second presentation, also in Irvine 159, is at 4 p.m. HTC student Charlotte Klimovich presents her Honors Thesis, titled “Biting mechanics of raccoons (Procyon lotor) and skunks (Mephitis mephitis): Exploring the link between cranial morphology and infectious disease control.” Her mentor is Dr. Susan Williams.
