As part of 2016-17: The Year of Energy, the Sustainability Studies theme is hosting Paul Fenn, Founder & President of Local Power Inc., in a public lecture titled “America’s Community Power Revolution” on Thursday, March 23, from 4:30-6 p.m. in Baker Center Theater.
An innovative leader in renewable energy, Fenn has 20 years of success enabling communities to become energy independent, saving Americans billions of dollars on their electric bills and causing some of the largest greenhouse gas reductions in history. He is the Founder & President of Local Power Inc. and is best known as the creator of Community Choice Aggregation and Solar Bonds.
Fenn is recognized for his innovations in energy policy, law, and finance as well as data analysis, program design, and negotiation.
