Everyone has a life history. Students in a Summer 2017 course can learn from anthropological research, theory and methodology how to conduct life history work for personal or professional goals.
Central to cultural anthropology, life history engages students in questions about the relationship between individuals and society, and the connection between structure and history. This course encourages students to explore a range of qualitative methods that develop interviewing and conversation skills.
