Course Description: This is an experiential survey of our family’s past. Through hands-on labs, students explore humankind’s closest living primate relatives and fossil ancestors. The course covers evolutionary theory; primates; fossil record of human evolution; mechanics of evolution; human variation. Concepts are explored through a combination of lecture and hands-on laboratory exercises.
