If you’ve been thinking about changing your major and have already discussed your decision with friends and family, now is the time!
The last day to change your major for the spring semester is this Friday, Feb. 24.
Here are just a few benefits to changing your major now instead of waiting until the fall semester:
- It allows you to look over your new DARS with an advisor before you schedule for the fall term.
- You could consider taking courses over the summer if you are behind in course work or need to take any requisites for your new major.
- Changing your major now allows you to research your new field over the summer.
- You would have time to meet with your new faculty and advisor to talk about your goals in the program.
