OPIE Academic Workshop Series – required for admitted undergraduate students at the Advanced Level
What? The series of workshops are designed to facilitate students’ transition into academic classes that will cover the topics: U.S. academic culture, Ohio University resources, reading DARS, and class registration.
When and Where? Feb. 1, 8, 15, 22 from 10 – 11:30 a.m. in Gordy 101

Change of Level Information Session: How to change status from OPIE-only to OHIO graduate or undergraduate
What? This session is for OPIE students, who are not admitted to undergraduate or graduate programs at Ohio University yet, but who may be interested in applying. It aims to explain the process of application and necessary paperwork that goes with it. Students will be able to ask questions about the application process, deadlines, and make appointments with the available admission staff.
When and Where? Feb. 1 from 1 – 2 p.m. in Tupper Hall 304

Undergraduate Application Workshop: for students planning undergraduate studies at Ohio University
What? This workshop is for students who have decided to apply to OHIO undergraduate programs. Students will gather at the computer lab to work on the undergraduate online application with Vicki’s guidance. It is a great opportunity to practice filling out numerous application forms and ask questions about them.
