The Center for Law, Justice & Culture encourages alumni in legal fields, as well as students interested in law to attend the College of Arts & Sciences’ first-ever Alumni & Student Networking Reception on Thursday, Feb. 2, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. in Baker Center Ballroom B.
Participants can come for whatever amount of time fits their schedule. The evening will include a career development and networking lab with how-to instruction for one-to-one student and alumni networking and is designed for students majoring in the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences. Free Hors d’Oeuvres will be served.

The reception is part of the College of Arts & Sciences Career & Networking Week which will take place from Jan. 30 to Feb. 3. The week is intended to assist students in maximizing their degree and preparing for the interview and application process of finding a position after graduation.
As part of the day’s events, OHIO Economics alum Alan Jay Rom, a Massachusetts attorney focusing in civil rights and employment law matters, will be joining the Center for Law, Justice & Culture at 11:30 a.m. for an informal lunch with students in the CLJC offices. Afterward, Rom will deliver a talk titled, “I Never Left O.U.” in RTEC 214 at 1 p.m.
