Career Corner | 2017 Student Internships Offered by Society of Municipal Arborists

The Society of Municipal Arborists is seeking eligible students and city hosts.

Option 1: 10 Week Summer Internship. Students will experience the full range of job duties of the municipal arborist/urban forester.

How to Apply: Complete the 2017 Summer Internship Application 

Option 2: Project Based Internship. Students will work on a specific project, to be determined by the host city. Examples may include, but are not limited to, tree inventories, tree planting, PR/marketing campaigns, i-Tree analyses, research, graphic design, planting design, website management or other approved projects. The length of the internship will be determined by the time required to complete the project and may occur at a time agreeable to both student and host city.
