Ohio University alum Bradley Schultz ’07 was announced as a hospital medical physician who will be working with Dearborn County Hospital in southeast Indiana.
Schultz earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the College of Arts & Sciences at Ohio University.
Dearborn County Hospital has partnered with TriHealth to provide Hospitalist services for its inpatients. Hospital Medicine Physicians, better known as Hospitalists, work on-site to provide seven-day-a-week, around-the-clock care for hospitalized patients. Hospitalists work in addition to other practitioners, such as Emergency Department Physicians, who also provide 24/7 care.
“DCH has utilized Hospitalists since the fall of 2013,” said Michael W. Schwebler, Dearborn County Hospital President/CEO. “All major tertiary care hospitals and most large metropolitan and suburban facilities have Hospitalist programs to ensure continuity of care and 24-hour-a-day access for their inpatients….
Bradley Schultz, M.D. earned his undergraduate degree from Ohio University and Medical Degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Both his Internship and Internal Medicine Residency were at The Christ Hospital. Dr. Schultz is coming to DCH from Bethesda North Hospital where he served as a TriHealth Hospitalist. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
