On Thursday, Oct. 27, the Ohio University Creative Writing program hosts Visiting Nonfiction Writer Dinah Lenney for a reading at Walter Hall Rotunda (7:30 p.m.). A reception will follow the event, which is free and open to the public.
Lenney is the author of The Object Parade and Bigger than Life: A Murder, a Memoir, written some years after her father’s death. A graduate of the Bennington Writing Seminars and currently senior editor of the Los Angeles Review of Books, she has written for Agni, Brevity, Creative Nonfiction, The Kenyon Review, Ploughshares, and many other publications. She also has an extensive background in acting (having appeared on such shows as ER and Shameless) and both teaches and writes about the acting craft.
