International Students Enjoy a Picnic at Strouds Run
The OPIE annual fall picnic was on Friday, September 30 from 2:30-7:00 p.m. OPIE students, faculty, and conversation partners, gathered at Strouds Run State Park to socialize and participate in fun activities like beach volleyball, badminton, soccer, and sing-a-longs in various languages. Participants also went out on the lake in kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, and pontoon boats. Later in the evening, food from Ali Baba’s was served, and everyone enjoyed eating lamb, beef, and chicken gyros along with an assortment of salads and delicious home-made desserts. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the picnic and to those who helped out. We are looking forward to seeing all of you at our next OPIE event!
