The Dynamical Systems Seminar presents “Small Boundary Properties: Some Equivalences and a Counterexample” on Oct. 18 at 4:10 p.m. in Morton 127 .
The speaker is Benjamin Stanley of the Mathematics Department at Ohio University.
Abstract: We address the question of whether the I-SBP and the J-SBP differ for I and J being different notions of smallness. We also examine a few equivalent properties to the small boundary property and discuss the possibility of finding similar, equivalent, conditions for the I-SBP when I is generated by a summability method.
