International Week: ‘A Promise with No Boundaries’
International Week has been celebrated at Ohio University as early as 1969, becoming an annual week-long celebration in 1979. One of the most popular events of International Week is the International Street Fair, celebrated on Court Street since 1982 in conjunction with the city of Athens.
The International Student Union funds, programs, and carries out many of the week’s events and plays an integral role in event success. This year, International Week is April 10-16.
Global Voices at Ohio University
“Global Voices at Ohio University” is a new video series about the international students at Ohio University. Each of the nine videos covers a different topic and highlights international students’ experiences on their experience at Ohio University, as well as their cultural insights into everyday life in Athens.
In “About Our Countries“, international students from Bangladesh, Brunei, China, Germany and Indonesia share some basic information about their home countries.
