Global Voices at Ohio University
‘Global Voices’ is a new series of videos about the international students at Ohio University. Each of the nine videos covers a different topic and highlights international students’ perspectives on their ‘college’ experience at Ohio University, as well as their cultural insights into everyday life in Athens.
In the video “Tips for International Students at Ohio University“, students share lessons they have learned and talk about how to get involved on campus, meet new people, appreciate a new culture, and succeed academically:
In the next video, “Tips for Faculty“, students share their ideas with faculty on how to enhance their communication with and understanding of international students: be patient, provide lecture notes and assignments in writing, and spend more time getting to know students from different countries.
