While we always encourage you to seek out your academic adviser for guidance throughout the year, there is one time every semester when you are required to meet with us: Registration Advising.
This meeting is all about planning for the future and picking out classes for the upcoming semester. This can also be a great opportunity to talk about how to best utilize your summer, whether it is through internships, work, volunteer experience, or taking classes.
Be sure to give all of this some thought before you sit down and have a conversation with your adviser, as that will make the session more productive. Come up with a list of questions, research classes that you might like to take, and make sure to refresh your DARS and check out you remaining requirements before you come to see us.
