The Wealth and Poverty theme is sponsoring a needs drive to benefit The Plains Elementary School from March 7-31.

Officials at the school have identified the items listed below as their most pressing needs. To host a collection box, contact Dr. Edna Wangui, Associate Professor of Geography, at wangui@ohio.edu.
School Supplies Needed
- 2-inch binders
- Tissues
- 5-subject notebooks with pocket folders
- Pencils
- Colored pencils
- Pocket folders
- Large Ziplock bags
- Pencil top erasers
- Dry erase markers – fine point
- Glue sticks
- Page protectors
- Black construction paper
Food Items Sought
- Healthy snacks (other than peanut butter)
Other Needed Items
- Tennis shoes: sizes young child 12 to adult 10
- Kroger gift cards are also welcome. They will be used to purchase fresh fruits for the children. To donate a gift card, contact wangui@ohio.edu to arrange for pick-up.
