Brad Modlin’s book of poems Everyone at This Party Has Two Names has won the 2015 Cowles Prize and will be published by Southeast Missouri State University Press in the fall of 2016.
Poems from the collection have appeared in print literary magazines including Indiana Review (Indiana University), Sycamore Review (Purdue University,) The Florida Review (University of Central Florida), and The Pinch (University of Memphis). Poems have also been featured in the anthologies A Ritual to Read Together: Poems in Conversation with William Stafford, and Joys of the Table: An Anthology of Culinary Verse. Online publications include Proximity Magazine and Zocalo Public Square.
Modlin teaches in the English Department at Ohio University and is finishing his Ph.D. in Creative Writing.
