The Charles J. Ping International Leadership Award
Please consider nominating anyone who deserves recognition for their contributions to the international community of Ohio University or greater Athens for the Charles J. Ping International Leadership Award. International Student and Faculty Services created this award in 2010 to recognize outstanding leadership by an international student enrolled in Ohio University. This year, two more award categories have been added to recognize contributions of student who are not in F-1 or J-1 status. A total of four awardees will be chosen, including two undergraduate students and two graduate students.
The deadline to apply is Feb. 15 at 5 p.m., and the nomination form is online. For more information, contact lawrenk1@ohio.edu.

New Student Organization “Net Impact” focuses on social and environmental problems
The Center for Entrepreneurship is looking to start a new student organization called Net Impact.
Net Impact is a nonprofit membership organization for students and professionals alike who are interested in using business skills to support various social and environmental causes.
Basic membership at Net Impact gives students access to impact jobs and internships, an extensive network, resume-building programs, and other resources for professional development.
Those interested in spearheading the launch of Net Impact on Ohio University’s campus should send a message of interest to ta163213@ohio.edu.
