FAs we’ve reached the first week of February; hopefully you haven’t already given up on your New Year’s resolution to spend less time on Facebook and more time on academics.
If you’re having a little trouble and need something to help keep you on track, try Simple Blocker. This handy Google Chrome extension will block websites of your choice during a specified time frame, allowing you to focus more on the tasks at hand.
There are also other programs of this type available, such as I-Am-Studying Blocker, StayFocusd, and Block Site, that will keep you from falling prey to the distractions of social media, so you can reach your goal of reading those 120 pages of awesomely written scholarly text.
