Ann enjoys using social sciences methodology to gather information about programs to help them provide the best possible services to children and families.
Ann (Deaton) Wacker graduated from the College of Arts & Sciences at Ohio University with her Masters in Sociology in 2008. She has worked at the Butler Institute for Families at the University of Denver for four years.
As a research associate, she works on research and program evaluation projects in the areas of child welfare, early childhood education, and juvenile justice. Ann is also in her second year as a PhD student in the Research Methods and Statistics program at the University of Denver.
