It’s always a good idea to keep your course syllabi. Syllabi are useful for noting material you have learned on a resumé or job application.
They also are very helpful when you need to take a class at another college or university, as the syllabi tells whether you have learned the material needed to have a course equated when transferring.
Keeping the syllabus for a course where this may be an issue makes it easier for the adviser to review the course and possibly change the equation.
