The Wealth & Poverty theme, in collaboration with the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Week Planning Committee, is hosting a school supply drive in January. This year’s donations will be delivered to the students of Coolville Elementary School, about 20 miles southeast of Athens.
Boxes are located across the campus. Please contact Barb Harrison (Campus Involvement Center at harrisob@ohio.edu) or Dr. Bayyinah Jeffries (African American Studies at jeffrieb@ohio.edu) to have your own collection box. Several Wealth & Poverty members have volunteered to host a mini school supply drive in their department or building.
What is needed at Coolville Elementary: pencils, pens, notebooks, construction paper, markers, sharpie markers, dry erase markers, crayons, mechanical pencils and refills, glue sticks, Clorox wipes, tissues, copy paper
Donations are accepted Jan 11-31.
