Dr. Sarah Racine, Assistant Professor of Psychology, worked with both her graduate and undergraduate students to create the BEEP Lab’s first entry in the Annual Psychology Department Pumpkin Contest.
The BEEP Lab won four awards for its display titled “A Balanced Porter Diet,” including “Best Old School Pumpkin Carving.”
The Biopsychosocial Examination of Eating Patterns (BEEP) Lab examines how biological, psychological, and sociocultural risk factors intersect to influence normal and abnormal eating and exercise patterns. They are particularly interested in studying personality and emotional correlates of eating behaviors at these multiple levels of analysis.
