Academic Advisor and Transfer Specialist for the College of Arts & Sciences
As a transfer student, it is easy to become very focused on your major requirements and forget about exploring other areas of study.
Do not forget to try new things, take courses in subjects that interest you, or find a class in an area outside of your major that supports your career goals.
When meeting with your adviser to plan spring semester classes, step outside of your comfort zone of only meeting requirements for your major. Collaborate with your adviser to find something that fits your needs, interests, and goals.
College is a great opportunity to explore and grow, so take full advantage of your time at Ohio University. These years fly by!
