The Center for Law, Justice & Culture hosted an alumni and prospective student reception on Friday, July 17, 2015. The reception took place in the center offices and was attended by 25 alumni, prospective students, current students, faculty, staff, and members of the Athens legal community.
Among those in attendance was current Supreme Court of Ohio Justice William O’Neill, B.S.J. ’69. The reception provided an opportunity for high school students interested in Ohio University’s pre-law programs to learn more about the programs from both OHIO faculty and staff and alumni working in in legal fields. It also provided an opportunity to discuss the center’s successful 2014-15 programming and to look forward to programming in the 2015-16 school year, including Justice O’Neill’s return to campus for Pre-Law Days, on Nov. 5 and 6, 2015.
