The dogwoods will be in pre-bloom as the Dogwood Bloom Reading Series presents readings by short-storyist Madeline Ffitch and essayist Kat Saunders on March 13 at 7 p.m. in Galbreath Chapel.
Dogwood Bloom is a student-run reading series in Ohio University’s Creative Writing program that allows second-year graduate students to showcase their work.
ffitch is a doctoral student in the Creative Writing fiction program in the English Department at Ohio University. She recently published a short story called “The Big Woman” in the winter issue of Tin House.
Saunders is a master’s student in the Creative Writing nonfiction program. She serves as the associate fiction editor for Stirring: A Literary Collection and has published work in Alimentum: The Literature of Food.
All Dogwood Bloom events are free and open to the public.
