Welcome back! I know you’re all coming from your Spring Break destinations (Wwe had 10 inches of snow while you were gone!), but it’s time to get back to it. Registration advising for Fall of 2015 is slated to begin next week on March 16, so be sure to contact your assigned academic adviser to schedule an appointment. If you are unsure about who your adviser is, this information can always be found on your DARs or My Ohio Portal.
Helpful Hints Before You Meet with Your Adviser
- Refresh your DARs and figure out what classes you still have left to fulfill.
- Check out the classes offered for the Fall term on the Course Offerings page.
- Consider any re-takes.
- Consider any classes you would like to take over the summer.
- Decide if you will be continuing with the same major.
Walk-in Advising
If you need additional assistance after speaking with your assigned academic adviser, the College of Arts & Sciences Office of Undergraduate Student Affairs has walk in hours every Wednesday from 9-11 and 1-4. You will be able to meet one-on-one with a general adviser and ask all of the burning academic questions that you have.
We are located in Wilson Hall on College Green next to Galbreath Chapel and Ellis Hall. Please be aware that walk-in appointments are first-come, first-served. However, you can schedule an appointment at any time by dropping in or calling our main line at 740-593-2845.
