Students for Law, Justice & Culture is calling for participants in a student research panel on April 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. centered on the U.S. criminal justice system.
Students who have conducted fieldwork, done research, are involved in activism or are generally interested in criminal justice are encouraged to apply. Presentations can touch on the subjects of race, mass incarceration, prison reform and abolition, or related topics, but must all pertain in some way to criminal justice in the United States. Panelists will give presentations of 5 to 7 minutes in length and questions relating to those themes will be posed by a moderator. A Q&A session will follow the panel.
Please submit a short abstract (one or two paragraphs) for a presentation to ohio.srp@gmail.com by Feb. 27 at noon. Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply.
Any questions can be directed to ohio.srp@gmail.com.
