I hope you have settled into the Spring semester and are getting back into the swing of things. This week I want to talk about two helpful apps, Carrot and Timeful, that may make your life as a student (and future professional) a little easier and more organized.

Let me put it out there that I love to do lists. They help me stay organized and remember all of the things I have to accomplish.

Carrot, a to-do list with a personality, “rewards” you for completing tasks by giving you points and “punishes” you if you don’t complete them by giving you playful insults.

Timeful, helps you to find time in your schedule, cross tasks off your list and reach your goals. You can sync the app with other calendars, as well as add existing habits. Timeful learns when you would be most likely to complete a task from your past successes and makes suggestions for your schedule.

If you don’t find either of these helpful, there are a ton of productivity apps that you can download, many for free. A few popular ones are Evernote, EasilyDo and Things, all of which will help you get organized for 2015.
