Dr. Vladimir Vinogradov, Associate Professor of Mathematics at Ohio University, is a co-organizer of the International Conference on Analysis, Applications and Computations next September in Toronto. He is working with jointly with Martin Muldoon, M.W. Wong, and Jianhong Wu, all from York University.
An invited speaker, Vinogradov also will give a joint talk with Richard Paris on asymptotic properties of a Wright function arising in probability theory. Vinogradov will present various asymptotic properties of the particular Wright function that has arisen recently in probability theory.
The conference themes are Special Functions, Orthogonal Polynomials, Fourier Analysis, Analytic Number Theory, Integral Transforms, Asymptotics and Differential Equations with applications and computations in Mathematical Biology, Medical Imaging, Fluid Dynamics, Electromagnetics, Probability, Stochastic Processes and Statistics. The interdisciplinary feature of the conference is of interest to a broad spectrum of mathematical scientists and contributes to the training of postdocs and graduate students.
