Ohio University alum Jeremiah B. Frueauf ’98 has been elected to the directorship of Intellectual property law firm Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox P.L.L.C., according to a news release.
He earned a J.D. from Georgetown University, an M.S. in Biochemistry from Michigan State University, and a B.S. in Chemistry/Biochemistry from Ohio University’s College of Arts & Sciences, where he graduated summa cum laude.
Frueauf is a director in the Biotechnology/Chemical Practice Group and counsels domestic and international clients on the worldwide procurement, protection, and enforcement of patents. He is experienced in counseling clients on evaluating intellectual property, including freedom-to-operate, due diligence, validity, infringement, and patentability analyses, and identifying and implementing strategies for licensing, challenging, designing-around, and securing a competitive advantage over competitor technologies.
Frueauf’s experience includes representing clients in various inter partes matters, including district court litigation, Section 337 investigations before the U.S. International Trade Commission, and patent office litigation.
