The Canton Repository quoted Dr. Richard Vedder, Director of the Center for College Affordability and Productivity and Professor Emeritus of Economics at Ohio University, in a story on “New year, new you: The future of Social Security.”
“There is no question that something is going to have to be done about Social Security,” said Richard Vedder, professor of economics emeritus at Ohio University. “The Social Security trust fund projects that it will simply run out of money at some point.
It will certainly be in the next 30 or 40 years.”
