Dr. Nukhet Sandal was part of a Crisis in the Middle East forum for Brown University students in October.

The Brown forum featured views from scholars of politics, religion and international relations. The forum was designed to address the development of ISIS, one of the most alarming issues in the post-Arab Spring Middle East.
Sandal is Assistant Professor of Political Science and Director of War & Peace Studies and the War & Peace curricular theme at Ohio University. She is also an Executive Board Member for Religion and International Relations in the International Studies Association.
