Cincinnatti.com featured Ohio University alum Danielle Arlinghaus ’14,in a story on “Milford woman raising funds for 11-country mission trip.”
Arlinghaus earned a B.A. in English from the College of Arts & Sciences at Ohio University.
Twenty-four-year-old Danielle Arlinghaus has lived in Milford her entire life, doesn’t open up easily to people and hates to ask for money.
Arlinghaus is putting aside her fear and pride and asking people to help her raise the remaining $11,600 she needs to go on an 11-month, 11-country World Race Christian mission trip that begins Jan. 6.
Arlinghaus and six teammates from across the United States will travel to the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Ireland, Bulgaria, Moldova and Romania.
“I could be caring for orphans, visiting hospitals, praying for the sick, building churches and building relationships with prostitutes and those who suffer with HIV and AIDs and those who live in unimaginable poverty,” Arlinghaus said.
