Sixteen plant biology majors and minors were engaged in internships during 2014, mostly during the summer, and many of them through the Department of Environmental and Plant Biology pipeline internships program.
Learn more about summer internships at the Environmental & Plant Biology Internship Symposium on Thursday, Oct. 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Porter 102.
The first hour will be five-minute presentations by interns to briefly describe the organizations that provided their career experiences and some details of their experiences. The remaining time will be “eat and greet,” with casual conversation between the interns and audience, along with catered snacks provided by the department.
