Ohio University students and faculty are welcome to join OPIE events.
New Advising Initiative: Workshop on “Navigating the University Landscape: A Roadmap” is hosted for the first time by the joint efforts of OPIE and College of Arts & Sciences on Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 9-11 a.m. in Ellis Hall 111. The workshop is offered to undergraduate students at the advanced and pre-academic levels of OPIE to make their transition from OPIE to their major fields of study at Ohio University easier and more successful. In this workshop, students are given some important communication techniques to use in academic context, strategies to plan their academic study effectively, and opportunity to practice “reading” their DARS. Participating in this workshop also preparea the students for the upcoming OPIE Academic Orientation.
