The Ohio University History Department and the Lazaroff Endowment present Dr. Thomas Doherty on “Hollywood and Hitler, 1933-1939” on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 5:30 p.m. in Baker Center Ballroom B.
A cultural historian with a special interest in Hollywood cinema, Doherty is a professor of American Studies and chair of the American Studies Program at Brandeis University. He is an associate editor for the film magazine Cineaste and film review editor for the Journal of American History.
His most recent book is Hollywood and Hitler, 1933-1939, was published in 2013 by Columbia University Press.
