The Modern Languages Colloquium Series presents Dr. Daniel Torres on”An AIDS Narrative: The 20th Anniversary Edition of Morirás si da una primavera” on Tuesday, Sept. 30, from 4 to 5 p.m. in Gordy 113.
Torres is Professor of Spanish in Modern Languages at Ohio University.
He will talk about one of his recent publications, Morirás si da una primavera [You Shall Die of AIDS in the Spring] (2014), a novel published as an e-book.
Torres won the prestigious “Letras de Oro” (1991-92) prize, granted by the University of Miami, for Morirás si da una primavera, a brief gay novel, which discusses issues such as erotic attraction between men and the AIDS crisis.
