“The Hancock County Firefighters’ Association presented Adrianne Talmadge, a 2014 graduate of Liberty-Benton High School, the Potts/Parcher Memorial Scholarship at its June meeting,” reports the Northwestern Ohio Courier on June 18.
Talmadge will be attending Ohio University with the goal of becoming a forensic chemist. While at Liberty-Benton, she was active in band, drama club, student council and was a member of the National Honor Society.
She is also a 4-H member in which she is a pistol instructor, and is a certified instructor-range officer through the National Rifle Association.
Talmadge is the daughter of Les and Pam Talmadge. Her father is a former volunteer fireman in Arvada, Colorado.
