The 17th Annual Lazaroff Lecture, “Who was a Jew in the Middle Ages? Conversos, Jews and the Question of Religious Identity,” features Dr. Jonathan Ray of Georgetown University on Thursday, March 27, at 7:30 p.m. in Baker Center Ballroom A.

Ray is the Samuel Eig Associate Professor of Jewish Studies in the Theology Department at Georgetown University. His publications include The Sephardic Frontier: The Reconquista and the Jewish Community in Medieval Iberia (2006) and After Expulsion: 1492 and the Making of Sephardic Jewry (2013).
The lecture is presented by the Department of History in the College of Arts & Sciences at Ohio University.
