The English Department presents a Futures in English Symposium to give undergraduate students an opportunity to hear from recent graduates whose English degrees helped them establish their careers. Three Ohio University alumni are the guest speakers.
The symposium is Friday, April 11, at the Alden Library Faculty Commons (third floor), with two identical sessions offered. Session 1 is from 11:50 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. Session 2 is from 1:10 to 1:55 p.m.
Alumni guest speakers for this special event are:
- Tim Boggs ’07, Entrepreneur and co-owner of Corporate Management Group in Columbus. He earned a Bachelor of Specialized Studies from University College.
- Mike Cottrill ’05, CEO of beegit in Cleveland. He earned a B.A. in English from the College of Arts & Sciences.
- Clare DeCapua Cottrill ’02, Hyland Software in Cleveland. She earned a B.A. in English from the College of Arts & Sciences.
