The French Section and the French Club of the Department of Modern Languages are sponsoring a French Film Festival in cooperation with the Athena Grand and Specticast on Wednesday, Feb. 5.
All shows will have English subtitles in this one-day event. The films are:
- 3:55 p.m.—Augustine—A look at the relationship between pioneering 19th century French neurologist Dr. Jean-Martin Charcot and his star teenage patient, a kitchen maid who is left partially paralyzed after a seizure.
- 6:15 p.m.—La Fille Du 14 Juillet—Young lovers try to make the most of a summer cut short.
- 8:15 p.m.—Comme un Lion—A young and promising soccer star must face life’s challenges in order to obtain his goal.
- 10:20 p.m.—J’Enrage De Son Absence—A man deals with the death of his son by forming a bond with an unlikely person.
